Abstract

"In diesem Beitrag wird ein weiterer Ansatz zur Messung der strukturellen Arbeitslosigkeit dargestellt. Aus dem Vergleich zwischen der empirischen Verteilung der Dauer der Arbeitslosigkeit einerseits und einer hypothetischen Verteilung andererseits, die sich bei Chancengleichheit aller Arbeitslosen ergeben hätte, werden Schlüsse auf das Ausmaß der strukturellen Arbeitslosigkeit gezogen. Die empirischen Ergebnisse zeigen, daß die Unterschiede zwischen beiden Verteilungen von 1968 bis 1975 kontinuierlich abgenommen haben, und bestätigen damit frühere Berechnungen des IAB. Die Untersuchung wurde im IAB durchgeführt." (Autorenreferat)
