Abstract

"Angesichts der anhaltenden Wirtschaftsschwäche haben sich die ohnehin eher trüben Geschäftserwartungen der Betriebe im Jahr 2025 gegenüber dem Vorjahr kaum verbessert. In einzelnen Branchen wie dem verarbeitenden Gewerbe hat sich die Situation nochmal deutlich verschlechtert. Hoffnung macht allerdings, dass die Betriebe im Vergleich zum Vorjahr etwas zuversichtlicher hinsichtlich der für 2026 zu erwarteten Beschäftigungsentwicklung sind. In Betrieben, die in die USA exportieren, ist die wirtschaftliche Lage besonders schwierig. Das zeigen aktuelle Ergebnisse des IAB-Betriebspanels." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
