Abstract

"Ein Blick in die morgendliche Zeitung und die Depression scheint programmiert: Der ökonomische Abstieg Deutschlands, drohender Sozialabbau und die gefühlte Ohnmacht der deutschen Politik angesichts multipler Krisen beherrschen die Schlagzeilen. Umso erstaunlicher: Bei den traditionellen Nürnberger Gesprächen, die am 16. April 2026 im Historischen Rathaussaal stattfinden, blickten die vier geladenen Podiumsgäste durchaus mit einer Prise Zuversicht auf die Arbeitswelt im Jahr 2030. Da es in der Veranstaltung nicht zuletzt um die Job- und Zukunftschancen junger Menschen in einer sich rapide verändernden Wirtschaft ging, hatte das IAB, das die Veranstaltung gemeinsam mit der Stadt Nürnberg organisiert, erstmalig auch gezielt Vertreter*innen der jungen Generation aus Schulen und Hochschulen eingeladen. Sie wurden gebeten, die Probleme und Herausforderungen zu schildern, mit denen sie sich selbst am Arbeitsmarkt konfrontiert sehen." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
