Abstract

"Friktionen beeinträchtigen das Funktionieren von Arbeitsmärkten und können dadurch Arbeitskräfteengpässe verschärfen, die Arbeitsmarktpartizipation benachteiligter Gruppen erschweren und Lohnungleichheiten vergrößern. Der internationale IAB-Workshop „Institutions and Frictions in the Labor Market“ nahm die Ursachen und Implikationen von Friktionen in den Blick. Die Teilnehmenden gingen Faktoren auf den Grund, die ein reibungsloses Funktionieren von Arbeitsmärkten verhindern, und beleuchteten, welche gesetzlichen Regelungen, politischen Maßnahmen und Normen solche Hemmnisse beheben oder verschärfen. Die Erkenntnisse aus diesem Workshop liefern wichtige Antworten für die Politik und das Arbeitsmarktgeschehen." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
