Abstract

"Auf dem deutschen Weiterbildungsmarkt gibt es eine breite Palette an Weiterbildungsangeboten verschiedener Bildungseinrichtungen. Wie informieren sich Beschäftigte angesichts dieser Vielfalt über ihre Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten? Die Daten der IAB-Onlinebefragung „Arbeiten und Leben in Deutschland“ zeigen, dass sich viele vor allem in ihrem betrieblichen Umfeld umhören. Doch nicht alle gehen gleich vor: Je nach Qualifikationsniveau und Lebensalter greifen Beschäftigte auf unterschiedliche Informationsquellen zurück." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
