Abstract

"Die neue Bundesregierung kündigt in ihrem Koalitionsvertrag verbesserte finanzielle Arbeitsanreize für Beziehende von Bürgergeld, Wohngeld und Kinderzuschlag an. Derzeit erhöht sich das verfügbare Einkommen von Erwerbstätigen im Leistungsbezug nur wenig, wenn sie ihre Arbeit ausweiten. Reformen zur Verbesserung der Arbeitsanreize sind möglich, allerdings ist zwischen der Ausweitung des Arbeitskräfteangebots, fiskalischen Kosten, der Schlechterstellung bestimmter Gruppen im Vergleich zum Status quo und dem Anstieg der Zahl von Sozialleistungsbeziehenden abzuwägen."
