Abstract

"Das Für und Wider von Sanktionen für Menschen, die Leistungen der Grundsicherung für Arbeitsuchende beziehen, ist politisch heftig umstritten. Umso wichtiger ist es, die aufgeheizte Debatte durch wissenschaftlich fundierte Befunde zu flankieren. Tatsächlich zeigt die Wirkungsforschung des IAB hier ein durchaus gemischtes Bild: Sanktionen wirken zwar teilweise, aber durchaus nicht immer in die gewünschte Richtung." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
