Abstract

"Das Bruttoinlandsprodukt lag im ersten Quartal 2025 preis-, saison- und kalenderbereinigt um 0,4 Prozent höher als im vierten Quartal 2024, in dem es gegenüber dem Vorquartal um 0,2 Prozent zurückgegangen war. Die jüngste positive Entwicklung dürfte allerdings auch auf Vorzieheffekte im Hinblick auf die internationalen Zollkonflikte zurückzuführen sein, die sich seit dem Wahlausgang in den USA abzeichneten und auch weiterhin den Handel und die Finanzmärkte stark belasten. Im Mai ist die Lagebeurteilung der deutschen Wirtschaft wieder etwas schlechter, die Zukunftserwartungen haben sich aber aufgehellt. Am Arbeitsmarkt bleiben positive Signale noch aus, die Beschäftigung stagniert." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
