Abstract

"Seit Jahren bleibt ein hoher Anteil der betrieblichen Ausbildungsplätze unbesetzt. Als eine mögliche Ursache hat jüngst das (kurzfristige) Abspringen von Bewerberinnen und Bewerbern verstärkt an Aufmerksamkeit gewonnen. Wie Ergebnisse des IAB-Betriebspanels zeigen, ist davon rund jeder vierte Betrieb mit unbesetzten Ausbildungsplätzen betroffen. Im Vergleich zum generellen Mangel an Bewerbungen und fehlenden geeigneten Bewerbungen spielt dieser Grund damit eine eher untergeordnete Rolle. Dennoch können sich dadurch Engpässe am Ausbildungsmarkt weiter verschärfen." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
