Abstract

"Zentraler Ausgangspunkt der Überlegungen zur Einführung einer Kindergrundsicherung war das Ziel, die Armutsgefährdung von Kindern zu verringern und dafür zu sorgen, dass Leistungen bei den Kindern und Familien ankommen. Denn viele unterschiedliche empirische Analysen kommen zu dem einheitlichen Ergebnis, dass Kinder und Jugendliche in Deutschland bereits seit Jahren ein überdurchschnittliches Armutsrisiko aufweisen. Wer sind nun die armutsgefährdeten Kinder und Jugendlichen und was bedeutet ein Aufwachsen in armutsgefährdeten Haushalten für ihren Alltag und ihre Familien?" (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
