Abstract

"Since the start of the war on 24 February 2022, more than six million Ukrainians have sought refuge outside their homeland – and Europe has been their main destination. In the IAB Research Report 16/2024 a research team from the IAB has compared the integration of Ukrainian refugees in the labour market in various European countries. The report reveals considerable differences – and yields far-reaching insights with a view to the integration policy debate in Germany. The IAB-Forum editorial team interviewed two of the study’s authors, Kseniia Gatskova and Theresa Koch, to ask them about their findings." (Author's Abstract, IAB-Doku)
