Abstract

"Im Verlauf der Pandemie wurde die maximale Bezugsdauer von Kurzarbeitergeld für Betriebe vorübergehend von 12 auf 28 Monate angehoben. Während der Geltungsdauer zwischen März 2021 und Juni 2022 entfiel die Hälfte des Volumens an Kurzarbeit auf entsprechende Verlängerungen. Genutzt wurde die Sonderregelung vor allem von Betrieben aus dem Gastgewerbe sowie aus dem Bereich „Kunst, Unterhaltung und Erholung“." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
