"In vielen Staaten der westlichen Welt erreichen die geburtenstarken Jahrgänge allmählich das Rentenalter. Das stellt die Rentensysteme vor Probleme. Dass ältere Menschen noch länger dem Arbeitsmarkt zur Verfügung stehen, ist jedoch kein Selbstläufer. Wie Deutschland dazu im internationalen Vergleich abschneidet, beleuchtet Ulrich Walwei, Vizedirektor des IAB, in einem aktuellen Forschungsbericht.
