Abstract

"Mit einer Publikation über die Subvention von Unternehmen in China gewannen der IAB-Forscher Ignat Stepanok und Holger Görg vom Kiel Institut für Weltwirtschaft (IfW) gemeinsam mit zwei Mitautor*innen den diesjährigen Harry G. Johnson Prize der Canadian Economics Association. Die Redaktion des IAB-Forum hat dies zum Anlass genommen, um mit Stepanok und Görg über die Auswirkungen der chinesischen Subventionen auf die europäische Wirtschaft zu sprechen – und über nötige Maßnahmen, um eine Verzerrung des Wettbewerbs zu vermeiden."
