Abstract

"Der soziale Sektor steht im Wettbewerb um Arbeitskräfte schlecht da, zeigen aktuelle Studien. In Teilen beeinträchtigt Personalnot jetzt schon die Erbringung wichtiger sozialer Leistungen. Ein Team von Autor*innen aus Forschung und Praxis hat sich nun zusammengeschlossen, um seine Expertise zu diesem Thema zu bündeln. In ihrem Buch, das heute erscheint, zeichnen Christian Hohendanner, Jasmin Rocha und Joß Steinke ein düsteres Bild dessen, was ohne grundlegende politische Maßnahmen auf den deutschen Wohlfahrtsstaat zukommen könnte. Zugleich zeigen sie Wege auf, um den sozialen Kollaps zu verhindern." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
