Abstract

"Die Zahl der Beschäftigten und das Arbeitsvolumen haben im ersten Halbjahr 2023 ein neues Rekordniveau erreicht. Personalengpässe bestehen dennoch fort und drohen sich in den kommenden Jahren weiter zu verschärfen – trotz lahmender Wirtschaft. Die Gründe dafür sind ebenso zahlreich wie die negativen Konsequenzen für den Wohlstand. Ohne eine nachhaltige Steigerung der Produktivität werden sich diese Probleme nicht lösen lassen."
