Abstract

"Der kürzlich veröffentlichte Beschäftigungsausblick der Organisation für Wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (OECD) zeigt einen deutlichen Rückgang der Reallöhne in nahezu allen OECD-Ländern. Geringverdienende haben den kleinsten Spielraum, diesen Kaufkraftverlust durch Ersparnisse oder Kredite aufzufangen. Gleichzeitig ist die effektive Inflationsrate für sie besonders hoch, da sie einen größeren Anteil ihrer Ausgaben für Energie und Lebensmittel aufwenden, deren Preise besonders stark gestiegen sind. Die OECD-Länder haben auf diese Preisschocks vor allem im Niedriglohnbereich unterschiedlich reagiert." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
