Abstract

"Die Zahl der Ausbildungsabsolvent*innen im Handwerk ist seit Jahren rückläufig. Gleichzeitig steigt der Anteil derjenigen, die anschließend weiter in ihrem Ausbildungsbetrieb arbeiten. Allerdings verlässt ungefähr ein Fünftel eines Jahrgangs im ersten Jahr nach Ende der Ausbildung den Ausbildungsbetrieb wieder. Dies zeigen Zahlen aus dem "Ausbildungspanel Handwerk", das in Zusammenarbeit von Handwerkskammern, dem Zentralverband des Deutschen Handwerks und dem IAB entstanden ist." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
