Abstract

"Revidierten Ergebnissen zufolge ist die deutsche Wirtschaft im Winterhalbjahr weniger stark eingebrochen als bisher angenommen. Im zweiten Quartal 2023 stagnierte das Bruttoinlandprodukt – preis-, saison- und kalenderbereinigt – laut vorläufigen Berechnungen. Die Konjunkturdynamik bleibt damit schwach. Und auch die Vorlaufindikatoren trüben sich weiter ein. Der Arbeitsmarkt zeigt sich insgesamt positiv: Es gab keinen erneuten Zuwachs in der Arbeitslosigkeit im Juli, sondern einen leichten Rückgang. Die Beschäftigung stieg im Mai etwas kräftiger als noch im Vormonat." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
