Abstract

"In der Corona-Krise hat Kurzarbeit in einem bisher beispiellosen Umfang dazu beigetragen, Beschäftigung zu sichern und Arbeitslosigkeit zu verhindern. Für geringfügig Beschäftigte gilt dies jedoch nur bedingt. Anders als in früheren Krisen wurde Kurzarbeit in der Pandemie auch außerhalb des produzierenden Gewerbes sehr stark genutzt. So waren Teile des Dienstleistungssektors während der Lockdowns sehr viel stärker von der Krise betroffen als andere Branchen." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
