Abstract

"Wirtschaftliche Krisen führen regelmäßig zu einem Defizit im Haushalt der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, weil die Beitragseinnahmen zurückgehen und die Ausgaben wegen höherer Arbeitslosenzahlen und vermehrter Kurzarbeit steigen. Deshalb soll in guten Zeiten eine Reserve gebildet werden, mit der ein solches Defizit finanziert werden kann. Angesichts der Erfahrungen aus der Corona-Krise wird hier die notwendige Höhe der Rücklage diskutiert." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
