Abstract

"Das Bruttoinlandsprodukt sank im 4. Quartal 2022 um -0,2 Prozent (preis-, saison- und kalenderbereinigt) gegenüber dem Vorquartal. Für das Jahr 2022 wird insgesamt ein preis- und kalenderbereinigter Anstieg von 1,9 Prozent ausgewiesen. Die deutsche Wirtschaft verlor damit im Vergleich zum Vorjahr an Fahrt, blieb aber angesichts anhaltender Material- und Lieferengpässe, hoher Inflationsraten durch stark gestiegene Energiepreise und Unsicherheiten infolge des Ukrainekrieges vergleichsweise stabil. Die Dienstleistungsbranchen entwickelten sich bedingt durch Nachholeffekte nach der Aufhebung der Corona-Schutzmaßnahmen gut, die Baubranche und das Verarbeitende Gewerbe schwächelten hingegen. Die Beschäftigungsentwicklung flachte sich im Jahresverlauf ab und die Arbeitslosigkeit nahm im Durchschnitt, trotz der Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine, ab." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
