Abstract

"In ihrem Koalitionsvertrag hatte sich die amtierende Bundesregierung darauf verständigt, das derzeit bis Ende 2024 befristete Instrument „Teilhabe am Arbeitsmarkt“ zu verstetigen. Damit würde dauerhaft ein Sozialer Arbeitsmarkt für besonders arbeitsmarktferne Langzeitarbeitslose etabliert. In ihrem jüngst bekannt gewordenen Haushaltsentwurf plant die Bundesregierung für das Jahr 2023 jedoch zugleich, die Mittel für die Leistungen zur Eingliederung in Arbeit von 4,8 auf 4,2 Milliarden Euro zu kürzen. Dieses Vorhaben wurde von der Opposition und einem Teil der Medien scharf kritisiert. Vor diesem Hintergrund hat die Redaktion des IAB-Forum vier einschlägige Experten im IAB um ihre Einschätzung gebeten." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
