Abstract

"Schon seit geraumer Zeit sinkt die Zahl der jungen Menschen, die sich für eine duale Ausbildung interessieren, und viele Betriebe beklagen einen Mangel an Bewerbungen. Diese Tendenz hat sich in der Corona-Krise verschärft. Zugleich gibt es nach wie vor viele Jugendliche mit einem Hauptschul- oder Realschulabschluss, die keinen Zugang zu betrieblicher Ausbildung finden oder keinen beruflichen Abschluss erwerben. Kann die von der Bundesregierung geplante Ausbildungsgarantie hier Abhilfe schaffen und der pandemiebedingten Krise des Ausbildungsmarktes entgegenwirken?" (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
