Abstract

"Das IAB erwartet 2022 eine weitere Erholung am Arbeitsmarkt und eine leichte Zunahme der sozialversicherungspflichtigen Beschäftigung in allen Bundesländern. Die Arbeitslosigkeit dürfte in den westdeutschen Bundesländern etwas stärker zurückgehen als in den ostdeutschen. Die regionale Arbeitsmarktprognose des IAB für das Frühjahr 2022 ist jedoch aufgrund des Krieges in der Ukraine, anhaltender Lieferengpässe, hoher Rohstoff- und Energiepreise sowie wegen des ungewissen Fortgangs der Covid-19-Pandemie mit besonders großer Unsicherheit behaftet. Eine Verschlechterung der wirtschaftlichen Lage aufgrund dieser Risiken würde sich auch negativ auf den Arbeitsmarkt auswirken, was jedoch in der hier vorgelegten Prognose nicht berücksichtigt werden kann."
