Abstract

"Während die Zeichen in Deutschland grundsätzlich auf wirtschaftliche Erholung vom Pandemie-Winter standen,überschattet der russische Angriff auf die Ukraine die weiteren Aussichten. Die coronabedingten Einschränkungen haben zum Ende des vergangenen Jahres den Aufschwung ausgebremst. Das Bruttoinlandsprodukt sank im Schlussquartal 2021 preis-, saison- und kalenderbereinigt um 0,3 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorquartal. Die anstehenden Lockerungen der Einschränkungen werden jedoch die Lage insbesondere für den Handel und das Gastgewerbe verbessern. Die Einschätzung der Unternehmen zur aktuellen Lage in Deutschland hat sich zuletzt ebenso wie die Erwartung für die nächsten Monate deutlich aufgehellt. Die Erholung ist auch am Arbeitsmarkt spürbar." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
