Abstract

"Erwerbsarbeit gilt als eine wichtige Voraussetzung, um am gesellschaftlichen Leben teilhaben zu können. Sie dient oft nicht nur dem Broterwerb, sondern stärkt auch Zufriedenheit und soziale Kontakte. In einer neuen IAB-Studie haben Stefanie Gundert und Laura Pohlan untersucht, welche Folgen ein Arbeitsplatzverlust für die gesellschaftliche Teilhabe der Betroffenen hat. Die Redaktion des IAB-Forum hat bei den beiden Autorinnen nachgefragt." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
