Abstract

"Das Erlernen der deutschen Sprache gilt für Geflüchtete als essenziell, um in Deutschland Fuß zu fassen – doch der Weg dorthin ist oft steinig. Eine multi-methodische Studie des IAB untersucht nun, welche Faktoren den Spracherwerb begünstigen und welche ihn erschweren. Sarah Bernhard und Stefan Bernhard gehören zum Autorenteam des IAB-Kurzberichts (26/2021), der die Ergebnisse der Öffentlichkeit vorstellt. Sie erläutern im Interview, welchen alltäglichen Herausforderungen sich die Geflüchteten beim Lernen der Sprache stellen müssen, und wie die Politik sie besser unterstützen könnte."
