Abstract

"Für die meisten Menschen in Europa ist ein Leben am Rande des Existenzminimums sehr belastend. Für die Mehrheit der Betroffenen bestimmen finanzielle Ängste und Sorgen das Lebensgefühl. Doch es gibt sie, Männer und Frauen, die trotz widriger finanzieller Umstände mit ihrem Leben zufrieden sind. Ein internationales Forscherteam ist der Frage nachgegangen, was diesen Menschen ungeachtet aller materiellen Einschränkungen zu einem zufriedenstellenden und würdevollen Dasein verhilft."
