Abstract

"MINT steht für Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaft und Technik: Wer in diesen Fachbereichen ein Studium absolviert, hat in der Regel ausgezeichnete Chancen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt. Die Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten werden sich aufgrund der demografischen Entwicklung sowie der ökologischen und digitalen Transformation der Arbeitswelt weiter erhöhen. Doch es sind noch immer vor allem Männer, die in diesen Bereichen arbeiten. Eva Rothgang ist Professorin für „Digitale Prozessketten in der Medizinischen Versorgung und Medizintechnik“ an der Ostbayerischen-Technischen Hochschule Amberg-Weiden und war mehrere Jahre bei Siemens Healthineers tätig. Sie erläutert im Interview, warum sie sich für einen MINT-Beruf entschieden hat und wie der MINT-Bereich für Frauen attraktiver gemacht werden kann." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
