Abstract

"Bei der Wahl des Ausbildungsberufs navigieren junge Menschen zwischen persönlichen Interessen, sozialen Erwartungen, Anforderungen im beruflichen Bildungssystem und Marktbedingungen. Dabei zeigt sich, dass die Mehrheit der Auszubildenden eine Ausbildung nicht in dem Beruf absolviert, den sie in der Schulzeit angestrebt haben. Nur eine Minderheit von ihnen muss deswegen Abstriche beim Ausbildungsberuf in Kauf nehmen. Viele stellen sich sogar besser." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
