Abstract

"Vor der Corona-Krise war die Zahl der Arbeitslosen im Jahr 2019 noch einmal gesunken. Die Kosten der Arbeitslosigkeit, also die Belastung der öffentlichen Haushalte durch Mehrausgaben und Mindereinnahmen infolge von Arbeitslosigkeit, legten aber im Vorjahresvergleich leicht um 1,6 Prozent zu. Sie beliefen sich insgesamt auf 51,3 Milliarden Euro." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
