Abstract

"Menschen in der Grundsicherung, die an einer psychischen Erkrankung leiden, haben es häufig besonders schwer, wieder in eine Berufstätigkeit zurückzufinden. Im Forschungsprojekt "Psychisch Kranke im SGB II: Situation und Betreuung" analysierte das IAB gemeinsam mit zwei Kooperationspartnern deren Situation im Kontext von Krankheit, Erwerbswünschen, medizinischer Behandlung und Betreuung durch die Jobcenter. Dabei ging es zum einen darum, wie die Betroffenen selbst ihre Situation sehen. Zum anderen ging es um die Frage, wie Jobcenter gemeinsam mit Einrichtungen der medizinischen und psychosozialen Versorgung deren Wiedereingliederung in den Arbeitsmarkt unterstützen können."
