Abstract

"Während des Shutdowns im Frühjahr 2020 mussten viele, wenn auch keineswegs alle Betriebe ihre wirtschaftlichen Aktivitäten stark nach unten schrauben und ihre personellen Kapazitäten entsprechend anpassen. Sie verzichteten häufig darauf, in der Krise neue Stellen auszuschreiben und nutzen vielfach Kurzarbeit. Einige Betriebe waren auch gezwungen, Personal zu entlassen. In welchem Ausmaß die Betriebe auf Kurzarbeit und Entlassungen zurückgreifen mussten, variiert jedoch stark mit der Branche und der Betriebsgröße." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
