Abstract

"Um Wirtschaft und Arbeitsmarkt in der Corona-Krise zu stabilisieren, nimmt der Staat sehr viel Geld in die Hand. Dies tut er aus gutem Grund. Gleichwohl darf und muss über Sinn und Unsinn einzelner Maßnahmen diskutiert werden. Denn staatliche Ausgabenprogramme schaffen fast immer massive Zielkonflikte. Hinzu kommt: Staatliches Geld allein wird nicht reichen, um den Arbeitsmarkt zu schützen. Denn die Wirtschaft wird zumindest kurzfristig - aller staatlichen Stützungsmaßnahmen zum Trotz - massiv einbrechen. Um dennoch Beschäftigung zu sichern, bedarf es - weit mehr als bisher - flexibler und partnerschaftlicher Lösungen, die Betrieben wie Beschäftigten einiges abverlangen werden, aber letztlich in unser aller Interesse sind."
