Abstract

"Die deutsche Wirtschaftsleistung bricht durch die Corona-Pandemie ein. War im Januar noch etwas konjunktureller Aufwind zu spüren, so wurden im Februar Lieferketten durch den Produktionsrückgang in China stark beeinträchtigt. Im März kam das öffentliche Leben hierzulande immer weiter zum Stillstand. Dies hinterlässt deutliche Spuren in allen Bereichen der Wirtschaft. Die Vorlaufindikatoren lassen schwere Zeiten erwarten. Sowohl der Geschäftsklimaindex als auch das Arbeitsmarktbarometer verzeichnen bisher noch nie gesehene Rückgänge." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
