Abstract

"Die Beschäftigung wird auch im Jahr 2020 voraussichtlich weiter wachsen, wenn auch mit einer deutlich geringeren Wachstumsrate als zuletzt. Wie in den Vorjahren ist das erwartete Beschäftigungswachstum in Berlin mit 1,9 Prozent am höchsten, während die Beschäftigungsentwicklung im Saarland, in Thüringen und Sachsen-Anhalt stagniert. Darüber hinaus wird mit einer nahezu unveränderten Zahl an Arbeitslosen gerechnet. Hier gibt es jedoch beträchtliche Unterschiede zwischen den Bundesländern: Während in Brandenburg die Zahl der Arbeitslosen laut Prognose noch um 2,0 Prozent zurückgeht, steigt sie in Baden-Württemberg mit 3,1 Prozent am stärksten. In fast allen Bundesländern ist der Prognose zufolge sowohl ein Anstieg als auch ein Rückgang der Beschäftigung möglich. Gleiches gilt für die Arbeitslosigkeit." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
