Abstract

"After the German economic growth temporarily picked up at the turn of 2018/2019, the economic downturn continued in the second quarter, influenced by external factors. Employment maintained its positive trend in the labor market, albeit less dynamically. Unemployment initially fell, but has stagnated since the middle of the year. The current IAB forecast looks at the expected developments in 2019 and 2020." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
