Abstract

"Die deutsche Konjunktur lässt im zweiten Quartal nach. Zwar ist die deutsche Wirtschaft gut in das erste Quartal 2019 gestartet (+0,4 % BIP-Wachstum saison- und kalenderbereinigt gegenüber dem Vorquartal), allerdings ist davon auszugehen, dass sich diese Dynamik im zweiten Quartal deutlich abflacht, da die Binnenkonjunktur aufgrund des auslaufenden Nachholeffekts in der Automobilindustrie gedämpft wird. Außerdem bleiben die Konjunkturaussichten weiter getrübt, was vor allem auf Handelskonflikte, wachsende Spannungen zwischen den USA und dem Iran und die jüngsten Entwicklungen im Vereinigten Königreich zurückzuführen ist. Der Arbeitsmarkt ist weitestgehend robust, aber die konjunkturelle Abschwächung wird auch hier deutlich." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
