Abstract

"Das Beschäftigungswachstum wird sich voraussichtlich auch in diesem Jahr sowohl in Ost- als auch in Westdeutschland weiter fortsetzen. Der erwartete Zuwachs an sozialversicherungspflichtig Beschäftigten reicht von 0,4 Prozent in Sachsen-Anhalt und Thüringen bis zu 3,2 Prozent in Berlin. Darüber hinaus wird ein weiterer Abbau der Arbeitslosigkeit prognostiziert, der jedoch schwächer ausfällt als in der Vergangenheit. Auch hier gibt es beträchtliche Unterschiede zwischen den Bundesländern: Während in Sachsen die Zahl der Arbeitslosen laut Prognose um 8,3 Prozent sinken wird, sind es in Bremen 2,9 Prozent. Der Rückgang fand überwiegend im Bereich der Grundsicherung statt." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
