Abstract

"Die konjunkturelle Entwicklung in Deutschland verliert deutlich an Schwung. Für das Jahr 2019 erwartet das IAB in seiner aktuellen Prognose ein Wachstum des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts von 0,5 Prozent, nach 1,5 Prozent im Vorjahr. Die Erwerbstätigkeit steigt um 510.000 Personen. Damit setzt sich der Aufwärtstrend nur leicht gebremst fort. Der Abbau der Arbeitslosigkeit geht weiter, reagiert aber deutlicher auf den konjunkturellen Dämpfer und fällt mit einem Rückgang von 140.000 Personen geringer aus als in den beiden Vorjahren."
