Abstract

"Da auch im Jahr 2017 die Zahl der Arbeitslosen rückläufig war, sanken in diesem Zeitraum auch die fiskalischen Kosten der Arbeitslosigkeit, die sich aus Transferzahlungen sowie Mindereinahmen an Steuern und Sozialversicherungsbeiträgen ergeben. Insgesamt beliefen sich die Kosten auf 53,1 Milliarden Euro (-4,5 %). Dies entspricht 1,6 Prozent des Bruttoinlandprodukts (2016: 1,76 %)." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
