Abstract

"Werden wir die Berufsidee auch in der digitalen Welt noch brauchen? Eine neue Studie kommt aus historischer Sicht zu einer optimistischen Einschätzung. Der Beruf hat sich den Weg in die Mitte der Gesellschaft gebahnt, indem er in verschiedenen Epochen dazu beigetragen hat, jeweils drängende gesellschaftspolitische Probleme zu lösen. Diese in Stände- und Industriegesellschaft erworbene Flexibilität spricht dafür, dass er sich auch in der digitalen Gesellschaft behaupten wird." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
