Abstract

"Dass ökonomischer Erfolg gleichermaßen Fluch und Segen sein kann, zeigt sich am Beispiel der mittelfränkischen Universitätsstadt Erlangen. Denn ein boomender Arbeitsmarkt hat auch seine Schattenseiten: Die Verkehrsbelastung wächst, es fehlt an bezahlbarem Wohnraum und Fachkräfte werden zusehends knapp. Wie Erlangen mit diesen Herausforderungen umgeht, erläutert Oberbürgermeister Dr. Florian Janik im Interview. Bis zu seinem Amtsantritt im Mai 2014 war Janik wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am IAB." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
