Fachtagung "Wissenschaft trifft Praxis" zum Wandel der Arbeitswelt

Abstract

Am 10. und 11. Juli 2018 jährte sich die Fachtagung "Wissenschaft trifft Praxis", die das IAB gemeinsam mit der Zentrale der Bundesagentur für Arbeit ausrichtet, zum 11. Mal. Dass das Interesse an einem intensiven Austausch zwischen Forschern und Praktikern ungebrochen ist, zeigte sich nicht zuletzt an den vollbesetzten Stuhlreihen im Konferenzzentrum der Bundesagentur. Unter der Überschrift "Arbeitswelt im Wandel" diskutierten Expertinnen und Experten aus Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft, Politik und Arbeitsverwaltung darüber, welche Folgen aktuelle und künftige Entwicklungen in der Arbeitswelt haben - vom technologischen Fortschritt über Globalisierung, Strukturwandel, demografische Alterung bis hin zu veränderten Wertvorstellungen über die Rolle der Frau - für Beschäftigte, Betriebe und die Gesellschaft. Besonders im Fokus standen dabei die Gesundheit von Beschäftigten, der Wandel der Arbeitsorganisation, die Entwicklung neuer Erwerbsformen und die Implikationen für sozialstaatliche Institutionen.
