Abstract

"Schon in wenigen Jahren wird das Erwerbspersonenpotenzial aus demografischen Gründen sinken. Es gibt zwar eine Reihe von Stellschrauben, um dieser Entwicklung entgegenzuwirken. Die Potenziale, die sich damit künftig noch heben lassen, sind allerdings in den meisten Fällen recht begrenzt. So wird die bislang starke Zuwanderung aus anderen EU-Staaten schon in naher Zukunft massiv zurückgehen. Deutschlands Unternehmen müssen daher auch für ausländische Fachkräfte aus Drittstaaten, die hierzulande bislang nur eine untergeordnete Rolle spielen, deutlich attraktiver werden."
