Abstract

"Smartphones sind mittlerweile für die meisten Menschen selbstverständlicher Bestandteil des Alltags. Erhebliche Teile der täglichen Kommunikation finden damit statt - das gilt nicht nur im Privaten, sondern auch im beruflichen Kontext. Auch Arbeitsplätze werden durch internetfähige Smartphones mehr und mehr mobil. Selbst bei der Jobsuche sind Smartphone und die Nutzung von Apps heute für viele nicht mehr wegzudenken. Für ein Forscherteam des Instituts für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung (IAB) Anlass genug, eine neue Studie aufzusetzen, um die Möglichkeiten dieses Mediums für die wissenschaftliche Forschung auszuloten."
