Familiennachzug: 150.000 bis 180.000 Ehepartner und Kinder von Geflüchteten mit Schutzstatus leben im Ausland

Abstract

"Bis Ende 2017 werden voraussichtlich rund 600.000 volljährige Geflüchtete mit Schutzstatus in Deutschland leben. Rund 400.000 von ihnen werden als anerkannte Asylbewerber und Flüchtlinge nach der Genfer Flüchtlingskonvention das Recht auf den Nachzug ihrer Ehepartner und minderjährigen Kinder haben. Weitere 200.000 haben überwiegend einen subsidiären Schutzstatus. Für sie wurde der Familiennachzug ausgesetzt, wenn sie seit April 2016 zugezogen sind. Auf die anerkannten Asylbewerber und Geflüchteten werden bis Ende 2017 voraussichtlich 100.000 bis 120.000 Ehepartner und minderjährige Kinder im Ausland entfallen, die einen Anspruch auf Familiennachzug haben. Würden zusätzlich Personen mit subsidiären Schutzstatus berücksichtigt, stiege die Zahl der nachzugsberechtigen Ehepartner und Kinder um 50.000 bis 60.000. Die vergleichsweise geringen Zahlen für den Familiennachzug erklären sich daraus, dass viele Geflüchtete ledig sind und sich deren Kinder und Ehepartner bereits mehrheitlich in Deutschland befinden."
