Abstract

"Unter Berufung auf eine Studie des Bundesinstituts für Berufsbildung (BIBB) meldete die BILD-Zeitung, dass 59 Prozent der Geflüchteten keinen Schulabschluss besitzen. Dabei werden auf Grundlage einer Statistik der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) zu den arbeitsuchenden Geflüchteten, die angeben, über keine abgeschlossene Schulbildung zu verfügen (34 Prozent), alle arbeitsuchenden Geflüchteten addiert, für die keine Angaben zum Schulabschluss vorliegen (25 Prozent). Zu beachten ist jedoch, dass es viele Gründe gibt, warum in der BA-Statistik keine Angaben zum Schulabschluss vorliegen. Diese Personen dürfen daher nicht pauschal der Gruppe ohne Schulabschluss hinzugerechnet werden. In einer repräsentativen Erhebung des Instituts für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung, des Bundesamts für Migration und Flüchtlinge und des Soziooekonomischen Panels (IAB, BAMF, SOEP) geben 64 Prozent der Geflüchteten an, einen mittleren oder weiterführenden Schulabschluss zu besitzen."
