Abstract

"Laut Wirtschaftsprognose des IAB wächst das Bruttoinlandsprodukt weiter kräftig. Nach einem saison- und kalenderbereinigten Anstieg des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts von 0,6 Prozent im ersten Quartal 2017 zeichnet sich auch für das zweite Quartal ein guter Verlauf ab. So hat der Produktionsindex im Produzierenden Gewerbe im Mai deutlich zugelegt. Am aktuellen Rand verbessert sich die Einschätzung der Unternehmen zur Geschäftslage auf den dritten Höchststand in Folge. Auch die Konjunkturerwartungen für die kommenden Monate zeigen aufwärts. Impulse kommen von der Konsumnachfrage und den Exporten. Potenzielle Risiken entstehen durch die Entwicklung in der Automobilbranche und protektionistische Tendenzen. Der Arbeitskräftebedarf bleibt hoch. Die Arbeitslosigkeit ist rückläufig und die Beschäftigung nimmt zu." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
